Pixel Arcade is a free collection of 28 browser games, built to run instantly with no download, install, or account required. Classic tabletop games like Tic-Tac-Toe, Checkers, Reversi, Four in a Row, Dots & Boxes, and Sea Battle support a local built-in computer opponent with three difficulty levels, as well as pass-and-play and online multiplayer against a friend using a shareable room code. Ludo and Snakes and Ladders also support online play for two players, with a computer opponent mode for solo sessions. Puzzle and arcade favorites — Snake, Paddle Duel, Brick Smash, Mine Finder, Pixel Invaders, 2048, Sliding Puzzle, Memory Match, Mole Smash, Word Search, Hangman, Color Echo, Block Stack, Pixel Flap, Lights Out, Frog Crossing, Ludo, and Snakes and Ladders — are tuned for quick, replayable sessions on desktop or mobile. Three original 3D games (Neon Runner, Turbo Drift, and Neon Blaster) round out the collection with lightweight WebGL gameplay that runs directly in the browser.

In a browser tab, they only fire while this tab stays open (foreground or background) — closing the tab entirely stops them. The friend high-score reminder is different either way: it needs to check your friends' live scores, so it only fires while you have the app or tab open (needs the Friends list set up and Firebase configured).

Repalettes Checkers, Reversi, and Four in a Row to a colorblind-safe orange/blue pair and adds a shape marker to every piece, so turns and moves never depend on telling two hues apart.
