Reversi (Othello) is a strategy game of flipping discs. Sandwich your opponent's discs between two of your own to flip them to your color, and win by controlling the majority of the board when it's full.
Click any highlighted square to place a disc there; any of your opponent's discs trapped in a straight line between your new disc and another of your discs get flipped to your color. Play locally, vs. computer, or online.
Corners are the strongest squares because they can never be flipped. Avoid squares next to corners early, and aim for fewer discs in the middle game rather than more.
Reversi was published in England in the 1880s, and a variant with fixed starting discs later became widely known as Othello.
