About Bunker Defense
Bunker Defense is a 3D tower-defense game. Aim your turret from the centre of a circular arena and stop waves of low-poly enemies before they reach your bunker's core hatch.
How to play Bunker Defense
Move the mouse, or drag a finger on a touch screen, to aim the turret. Hold the mouse button or keep your finger down to fire a continuous stream of energy bolts. Enemies spawn around the edge of the arena and march toward the hatch at the centre, so keep turning to the side they are coming from.
Tip: Brutes take three hits and do double damage if they reach the hatch, so start shooting them as soon as they appear instead of waiting until they are close.
Enemies and scoring
- Grunts (magenta) die in one hit and make up most of every wave. 10 points each.
- Runners (amber) are fast but also die in one hit. They start from wave 2. 15 points each.
- Brutes (violet) are slow, take three hits and cost the core two health points if they get through. They start from wave 3. 30 points each.
- The core starts with 10 health. A grunt or runner that reaches it costs 1, and the game ends at 0. Clearing a wave gives a bonus of 20 points times the wave number.

Tower defense grew out of strategy games where you hold a position against waves of attackers. Bunker Defense gives the idea a quick, arcade form: one turret, one hatch and a steady stream of enemies.
More tips for Bunker Defense
- Rotate to the busiest side of the arena first; the enemies closest to the hatch matter more than the ones far away.
- Shoot runners early. They cover the distance quickly, and a single one slipping through still costs a point of core health.
- Brutes are slow, so you can leave them while you clear grunts and runners, then focus on them before they reach the hatch.
- Keep your fire moving. A steady sweep across the front line clears more enemies than staring at one target.
