Word Search is a relaxed puzzle game where a grid of letters hides a list of words running forward, backward, up, down, and diagonally. Find every word on the list before time runs out to clear the board.
Click and drag from the first letter of a word to its last letter to select it. Found words are highlighted and checked off the list automatically. A new letter grid and word list are generated each time you play.
Scan for rare letters first, then trace each candidate in all eight directions. Diagonal and backwards words are the ones most players miss.
The word search puzzle was first published in a newspaper in 1968 and has been a staple of puzzle books ever since.
