Checkers (Draughts) is a classic strategy board game played on an 8x8 board. Move your pieces diagonally, jump over your opponent's pieces to capture them, and reach the far row to crown a King with extended movement.
Click a piece to see its legal moves, then click a highlighted square to move it. Captures are mandatory where available. Play a friend locally, face the computer at three difficulty levels, or play online with a room code.
Keep your back row intact as long as possible to stop kings, and trade pieces when you are ahead. Advance in pairs so your pieces protect each other.
Checkers, also called draughts, descends from board games that are thousands of years old.
