Ludo is the classic race-around-the-board game: roll the dice, bring your four pieces out of the yard, send rivals back home and be the first to reach the centre.
Roll the die and tap a highlighted piece to move it. You need a 6 to bring a piece out of the yard. Landing on a rival's piece sends it back, except on star and start squares, which are safe. A 6, a capture, or getting a piece home gives you another roll, and you need the exact number to finish.
Yes. Choose Online (2 players) in the game, tap Create Room and share the 5-letter code with a friend. The host plays Red and the guest plays Yellow; each roll is checked by the server so the game stays fair. You can chat in the room, and the first player to bring all four pieces home wins.
Capture rivals who are close behind you only when it is safe, move pieces onto star squares when you can, and try to get pieces into your coloured home column before the computer catches them.
Ludo descends from the ancient Indian race game Pachisi and was simplified into the version played worldwide today in the late 19th century.
